Mechanical Assembler
OVERVIEW:
The successful candidate will have previous knowledge within a manufacturing environment, be
an effective team member and communicator, and be willing to assist with additional duties, as
necessary. Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting
work involved with mechanical assemblies.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
. Responsible for installation, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
. Must have strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading and hydraulic skills
. Willing to work with all types of building and production equipment
. Layout, assemble, test, and install, apparatus and equipment, working from blueprints,
schematics, sketches, verbal instructions, and other specifications.
. Diagnose and repair trouble involving installations and equipment.
. Fabricate and install necessary equipment to accomplish tasks.
. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications,
and parts lists, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
. Align, fit and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools and
blueprints.
. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. Installs, repairs and services
specialized mechanical equipment, machinery, panels and wiring.
. Completes installations and does necessary testing to verify work.
. The essential functions of individual positions within the classification may differ. We
may assign reasonably related additional duties to individual employees consistent with policy
and precedence.
. Additional responsibilities may be added or amended at any time to reflect changing business
conditions.
. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
. High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
. Two or more years of related experience.
