Mechanical Engineer

We're partnering with a client company to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time remote position with benefits.  

Location: Remote. Near New York with occasional travel to sites in New York

Salary: $60,000 - $120,000/year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred, EI (Engineer Intern) certification a plus
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the construction industry
• Occasional travel throughout NY to various job sites

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC building systems.
• Proficiency with BIM software, preferably Revit.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of applicable Building, Energy, and Mechanical Codes for the state of New York
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
